Chris Douglas-Roberts scored a career-high 33 points and No. 3 Memphis, after racing out to a big early lead, held on to beat Connecticut 81-70 on Friday night in the championship game of the 2K Sports College Hoops Classic.

Laketa travels to Serbia for clinic
Wingate University men’s basketball coach Parker Laketa will be traveling to Belgrade, Serbia to participate in an international coaching clinic. Laketa has been selected to attend the First Sports Basketball College coaching clinic, sponsored by FMP (a professional basketball club).
Brockport names Dunne head coach
Eight-year assistant coach Greg Dunne has been tabbed to replace Nelson Whitmore as the head coach of the SUNY Brockport Men’s Basketball team after Whitmore resigned to take a similar position at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
